Why Mahabis are the Best Slippers on the Market

Hello Autumn!  Although today in Scotland, it was warm and a humid 22 degrees, this evening (as well as the past few nights) the temperature is cool verging on chilly.

I love this time of year.  The nights are drawing in and this means two things.  Scented candles and slippers!  Tonight I have a Lavender candle burning.  I have to admit that I’ve missed not having the atmosphere of a candle lit during the summer months when it doesn’t get dark until 11pm or well after bed time.

Each Autumn when the cold of winter is looming I seem to find myself googling slippers.  During the cold season, I tend to go through around 5 pairs of slippers.  Wearing slippers all day while working in my home office I have found that within a few weeks they have holes, are fully worn and starting to get smelly.

Not this year though!  I’ve got myself two pairs of Mahabis Slippers.  A summer style slipper and also a warm, fluffy inner style.  For my lifestyle they are day and night slippers.  The summer style for during the day and the Classic Mahabis slipper for night, as it has a cosy fluffy inner.

Mahabis claim to be reinventing the slipper.  That they certainly do achieve.  A clever design allows pulling them onto the foot with ease via a lip that can be described as a foamed neoprene (wetsuit material) which fits perfectly around the heel.

I added a pair of soles (one for both pairs) which are detachable and are durable enough for taking the rubbish out or as I did last week, pop to the shops. (I drove – I’m pretty sure no one could tell they were slippers).

Move over Ugg’s, Mahabis are the new slipper in town and I can’t recommend them enough.  They are worth their weight in slipper!
