The Stockholm Furniture + Lighting Fair is an event I’ve always wanted to go ever since I found out about it on my interiors journey. It’s where new products are launched, trends are set and colour hues are created. It’s an all round feast on leading Scandinavian Brands.
Stockholm as a city, was as incredible as the fair. Cold and snowy, it was a magical winter wonderland. Candles were lit at breakfast time and twinkled away throughout the day around the city. Grey weather aside there was an abundance of greenery with plants visible in all places. The buildings were grand, the poeple friendly and the frozen sea seemed to add to the magic of the place.
Highlights
Highlights of the couple of days in Stockholm include meeting an amazing bunch of not only lovely but very inspirational people. Jane and Ruth co-owners of London Design Agency InForm. Owner Anna of uber cool brand Swedese at their showroom drinks party. Meeting owner Jesper from super cool Danish brand Skagerak on his stand at the Fair. Visiting super trendy Ett Hem Hotel and having drinks with the enthusiastic brand owner Rasmus from Friends & Founders with Neil and Richard from London based design agency Relay Design. Not only that there was the talk and dinner at Bla Station Showroom! It truly was an all round incredible interiors experience.
One for the memory bank for sure and one for the inspiration bank to boot!
