Job Description: Marketing Assistant

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Marketer to join our team on a full or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and creative individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing, particularly within Klaviyo. You will play a crucial role in executing our marketing activities, driving brand awareness, and supporting our sales efforts across both our B2C and B2B channels as well as implementing strategies to increase average order value (AOV).
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Marketing (Klaviyo):
- Manage and optimise B2C email flows within Klaviyo, integrated with WooCommerce, identifying opportunities for improved engagement and conversions.
- Develop and implement B2B email flows within Klaviyo, integrated with ProspectCRM, to nurture leads and drive sales to hotel and accommodation partners.
- Create and distribute the monthly B2B newsletter, curating relevant content for our business clients.
- Increasing AOV & Driving Sales Growth:
- Implement strategies to increase Average Order Value (AOV), such as creating product bundles, upselling suggestions, and developing post-purchase offers.
- Identify opportunities to optimise the online store experience to boost conversion rates particularly with BOF activities and existing clients.
- Provide fresh and innovative marketing ideas and take proactive steps to improve overall marketing performance.
- Ensure all advertising aligns with our brand values and target audience.
- Collaborative Giveaways:
- Initiate and manage monthly collaborative Instagram giveaways with hotel partners and other aligned brands to increase brand awareness and email list growth.
- Website Updates & SEO:
- Perform regular website updates, including adding new products, images, event information, and updating text for the candle subscription.
- Support efforts to revisit and refresh SEO across the website.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable marketing experience.
- Significant hands-on experience with Klaviyo (or other similar platform however Klaviyo experience an advantage), including setting up and managing email flows, segmenting audiences, and analysing results.
- Ability to be organised and disciplined to stay on track of the quarterly marketing strategy as created by our Fractional CMO.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, ideally WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally ProspectCRM but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks within a part-time schedule.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A genuine interest in natural living, plant-based products, and wellness is highly desirable.

Salary and Hours
Market rate £25 – 33K (rough guideline – this will be viewed depending on experience).
Full time preferred / Part time consider for the right candidate.
Office Based at The Cart Shed, Kilduff Farm, By Athelstaneford, North Berwick, EH39 5BD / Flexi working considered.
