REVIVE Limited Edition Candle

A Collaboration for Mental Wellbeing

Inspired by the therapeutic power of the ocean and the restorative mission of local East Lothian charity, Groundswell Surf Therapy, Revive is designed to clear the mental fog and ground your senses.

Light a candle, catch a wave. We created Revive in collaboration with Groundswell Surf Therapy to celebrate the healing power of the sea. This isn’t just a scent; it’s a tool for mental wellbeing.

By blending the invigorating, mood-boosting properties of Pink Grapefruit with the nervous-system-soothing power of Lavender, we’ve created a scent that mirrors the “surf therapy” experience: an initial rush of energy followed by a deep, lasting sense of peace.

We believe in giving back to the waters that sustain us. £5 of every Revive candle sold goes directly to Groundswell Surf Therapy, supporting their mission to provide surf-based mental health programs for our local community.

Scent Notes: Cold-pressed Pink Grapefruit essential oil (zesty and instantly energising), Lavender essential oil (floral, fresh, soothing, with a subtle honey-like sweetness) and hints of Sea Breeze (soft, grounding and reminiscent of a fresh, crisp ocean breeze)

Revive is 100% plant based made with essential oils and soy wax (and a textile grade cotton wick).

About Charity Groundswell Scotland

Groundswell Scotland is a welcoming surf and wellbeing community for women in East Lothian and the Scottish Borders, Our purpose is to provide a women centred, safe space to recover from trauma, gain confidence and unite in community.
Their journey to support women in surf community and the outdoors started in 2005, when our founder, Sally was facilitating outdoor pursuits with groups of vulnerable young people in East Lothian.

From there, a powerful journey in personal development skills, wellbeing, mental health research and connection with nature and women in surfing brought her to study gender studies as part of her Community Education study in 2010, and after founding  the Dunbar Surf Life Saving Club in 2014, the idea of Groundswell Scotland began to take shape from 2016.

We were absolutely delighted when in 2018 when Natalie Small, founder of Groundswell Community Project in San Diego, came over to support our beginning and the sisterhood between the women’s projects across the world remains strong today-  learning, leading and change making together.
