Launching the NEW LT Holiday Apartment

I’m super excited to be revealing my new Holiday Apartment.  Creating this has been one of my most challenging projects to date and I’m SO pleased with the end results.

As I’ve mentioned before I divided my home up into two parts.  The building, an old doctors surgery, is long and skinny.  Dividing it means we now live in 2/3’s and the holiday apartment is adjoining in 1/3.

My fully furnished Holiday Apartment has its own entrance which is accessed down the side of the house.

It was a challenge as I completed a lot of the work myself.  Plastering and painting meant I could totally splurge on the interiors.  As much as it was hard work, I’m pleased I chose to tackle the project in this way.

This ‘concept’ apartment has a twist.  Most items in it are for sale.  A showcase of Laura Thomas Linens products, guests can literally try before they buy, right down to the Rohr Remedy 100% natural Body Wash in the shower.  All bedding, towels, blankets, candles, scent diffusers and not forgetting all the incredible art works hanging are all for sale.

Add on extra’s for guests included; pre-arranged beach camp fire kit for fires on the beach to roast marshmallows and relax beside.  Rent paddlesboards.  BBQ kit.

The Apartment is a 10 minute walk and a 2 minute drive to Gullane Beach.  All village shops, pubs and restaurants are within a 10 minute walk, so guests can really experience village life.  There are excellent amenities such as a Butchers, Deli, 2 pubs, 2 Michelin star restaurants and a play park on the village green.  Gullane really is a beautiful place and it’s my honour to make sure my guests have the best experience of this special Scottish Village when they stay.
