Laura was relaxing on Gullane beach during the heat wave of 2018 playing beach badminton with her daughters. It dawned on her that she should create a coastal candle range. A collection that reflected the scents that she could smell on the coast of East Lothian where she lives.

The beach is an integral part of Laura’s life and she vows never to not live by the sea, having grown up inland. As a surfer Laura’s slightly obsessed by the ebb and flow of the tide. Her daily commute to the the LT Workshop in North Berwick from her home in Gullane allows for checking the sea. She can look at what the tide is doing enroute to her workshop and enjoys seeing a stormy sea on wild days.

Waves are a good thing when you’re a surfer! When Laura was developing the Coastal Candle Range, she felt she wanted to create a Wave coastal candle.

The scent of her Wave candle will remind you of that clean, fresh alive feeling of being embraced by your surroundings on a summers afternoon. The scents of fresh air and flowers, awakening you.
