Organic linen has not been chemically treated in the spinning, weaving and stitching processes.
Our organic cotton bed linen is worth the investment. Over time this beautiful organic cotton will soften with each wash making it feel even silkier to sleep within. Organic linen washes very well and is stronger and more durable than conventional cotton. This set will last for years. The simple pintuck detailing found all the way around the outer edges of the duvet cover and pillowcases gives a look that will never date.
Our organic linen comes from our quality supplier in India. Monika deals directly with a co-operative group of organic cotton farmers. Once harvested the cotton then gets spun, weaved and stitched in Monika’s factory in New Dehli before being packed and shipped to Scotland.
So what is Pin Tuck detailing?
Our pintuck detailing is where the organic cotton has been folded and stitched into place, much like a pleat. Pintucks give a decorative, textured effect. When designing this Stockholm Stitch bedding set, Laura wanted to create a simple, yet timeless touch of class and pintuck detailing allows just that.
Organic Cotton Bed Linen?
This set includes one duvet cover and two oxford pillowcases (*except for the single size which includes one oxford pillowcase). The duvet cover closes with buttons.
What are the benefits to you by buying organic cotton bed linen?
However you choose to style this smart organic cotton bed linen, Laura’s pick would be to leave it plain and simple. As it over hangs the sides of the bed it gives a classy and uncomplicated look. To dress up the bed / add some colour put a throw at the end of the bed in cooler months or add cushions at the head to create an overly comfortable feel.
