A Work of Art. Rural Italian Residence House Tour.

There’s properties and there’s properties.  Sitting at my kitchen table this Sunday night I could resist sharing this AMAZING hilltop residence in Italy which boasts serious killer views.  A true case of house envy, this pad has it all; sleek modern design, minimalist interiors, 360° views, beautiful pool and easy keep garden.  If you dreamed of own an Italian Summer House, surely this would be it?!

Sitting high up on the hillside within the area of the ancient walled city of Urbino, in the foothills of the Northern Apennines, with it’s accomplished minimalism, this property oozes class and style.  The use of natural materials, concrete and stone bring the dramatic building into cohesion with it’s impressive surroundings.

The ‘AP House’ designed by GGA Architects consists of a cluster of buildings that are connected by a stunning red coloured concrete terrace.  The coloured concrete creates a stark contract to the stone exterior.  The traditional tile roof make this building visually pleasing.  The clean lines and straight edges of the interior and the exterior create a perfect balance of unity between man and nature.
